Make yourself at home

A small addition.
A lot of personality.

A companion for the quiet stretches, the tricky problems, and the little wins.

I'm working with

Codex supports native installation. Other agents can use an independent companion window.

02

Make it yours.

Select your agent on the pet page. Use Install in Codex for native installation, or Open companion window for other agents.

03

Keep creating.

Use your pet in Codex or keep its browser window beside your agent. Browser companions are independent unless you opt into the local notification bridge.

Your setup

A little company, your way.

The download contains a Codex-format pet. Other agents can use the browser companion without a native plugin.

A little nudge, when it matters

Real signals. Tiny reactions.

Working, waiting for you, finished, or something went wrong. The optional local bridge turns agent notifications into pet reactions and a small unread badge. It never approves a request or reads your conversations.

Download local bridge
Connect notifications
  1. Unzip the bridge, keep the files somewhere permanent, and review the included guide. Requires Python 3.10 or newer.
  2. Run python3 agent-pets-bridge.py serve, then open http://127.0.0.1:4174/companion.
  3. Choose your agent. Try python3 agent-pets-bridge.py notify --agent claude-code --event attention.
  4. Run python3 agent-pets-bridge.py hooks --agent claude-code for a snippet to review and merge into existing hooks. Also supports cursor and gemini-cli. No settings are changed automatically.

OpenClaw, OpenCode, and other agents can call the generic notify command from their own trusted hook or plugin. Their adapters are not auto-configured. Templates were tested with synthetic events, not authenticated live agent sessions.

The bridge runs on your computer. Only status types reach the pet. No prompts, transcripts, or notification payloads are sent to our servers. Stop with Ctrl+C. Browser window chrome and always-on-top behavior depend on your browser; this is not a native transparent desktop overlay.

Native support, checked October 5, 2026

Codex keeps its existing native installer. Hermes has native pet support, with the playback limit noted above. No custom-atlas importer was verified for the other listed agents, so we offer the companion and opt-in notification bridge.

Official integration references: Claude Code, Hermes, OpenClaw, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode.

Made with care

Little details.
A smoother companion.

Every preview keeps the same scale across frames. The animation player follows Codex’s timing, including the return to idle after an action.

Room to move

Transparent padding keeps hair, hands, and props comfortably inside every frame.

Crisp at any moment

Pixel art stays on a consistent grid, with a shared palette and no soft edges.

Every frame, in view

Each companion’s page links to its sprite sheet and quality reports. We inspect the transitions, as well as the individual poses.
